1. The
Ethiopian Government has received a credit from the International
Development Association toward the cost of Public Sector Capacity
Building Program (PSCAP), and it intends to apply part of the
proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for
Consultancy Service.
2.
The Ethiopian
Information and Communication Technology Development Agency
(EICTDA), Information and Communication Technology Capacity Building
Program in PSCAP, now invites sealed bids from eligible and
qualified bidders for Consultancy Service to provide one month
networking and video conferencing training to 40 federal and
regional date center workers.
3.
Biding will be
conducted through the SBCQ procedures specified in the World Bank’s
Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultant by the IBRD Loans
and IDA Credits, and is open to all eligible Consultancy Services
Contractors.
4.
Bidders should present
currently renewed Trade License, Receipt of Inland Revenue for the
year 1997 E.C. and VAT registration certificate with their offer.
5. Bid
document may be obtained from EICTDA-Information and Communication
Technology Capacity Building Program in PSCAP upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 50 (Fifty Birr) only.
6.
Bid must be
accompanied by a bid bond in the form of Cash or Certified cheque
not less than 1% of the total bid price.
7.
Technical and
Financial proposals shall be sealed separately and delivered to
EICTDA-Information and Communication Technology Capacity Building
Program in PSCAP Office at Dembel City Center Building 11th
Floor, Addis Ababa.
8. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at or before 2:00 P.M. on 18
May 2006. Late bids will be rejected.
9. Bids
will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who
choose to attend in person at the Program Office at 2:30 P.M. 18 May
2006.
10. EICTDA-Information
and Communication Technology Capacity Building Program in PSCAP
reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
