1. Oromia
Regional State through The Government of Ethiopia has received a
credit (hereinafter called “credit”) from THE WORLD BANK towards the
cost of the Water supply and Sanitation Project and intends to apply
part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for
Procurement of Motor Bike for the Rural Water Supply, Sanitation and
Hygiene Program in the region.
2. The
Oromia Regional State Water Resources Bureau now invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders for the supply of 42 Motor Bikes. Bidders are
required to supply the Motor Bikes at Oromia Regional State Water
Resources Bureau, Finfinnee.
3. Bidding
documents may be purchased at Oromia Regional State Water Resources
Bureau, Bole Road, Program Support Office, 4th floor,
Room No. 401, P.O. Box 8630, Tel. No. 011-655 83 74 Finfinnee for a
non-refundable fee of Birr 150.00. Interested bidders may obtain
further information at the same address.
4. Bids
shall be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days after Bid opening
and must bid accompanied by a bid security (CPO) of 1% of the total
bid price, and shall be delivered to Oromia Regional State Water
Resources Bureau, Bole Road Program Support Office, 4th
floor Room No. 401, P.O. Box 8630, Tel. No. 011-665 83 74, 4th
floor Finfinnee on or before 3:00 P.M. after 21 (Twenty one) days of
the last date of publication on The Ethiopian Herald Newspaper. Bids
shall be opened at 3:30 P.M. on the same date on the presence of the
bidders who wish to attend.
5. Bidders
should present renewed license for 1998 E.C. VAT registration card
and suppliers registration certificate.
6. Oromia
Regional State Water Resources Bureau reserves the right to reject
all or part of the bid.
