To all
contractor of Category GC or BC class 6 & above contractors with
renewed license valid and VAT registered for the year 1998 E.C.
1. The
Afar National Regional State Bureau of Water Resources has planned
to construct Water Supply and Sewerage Office for Mille and Dubti
towns and now invites wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders for
providing the necessary labour, material & equipment for the
construction, preparation and completion of the above stated works.
2. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidder on the submission of a written application to Afar
Region Bureau of Water Resources Development and upon payment of
non-refundable fee of Birr 50 for each project.
3. Bidders
may obtain further information from, and inspect the bidding
documents, at the above office Tel. 033 666 00 39, Semera.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in the form of an
acceptable CPO or Bank Guarantee from of 2% of their price and must
be delivered to Bureau of Water Resources Development Office Number
2 on or before 2:30 P.M. local time, on 11/05/2006.
5. Bids
will be opened in the presence of Bidders or their representatives
who choose to attend on the same date and place at 3:00 P.M. at Afar
Bureau of Water Resources, Semera.
6. The
construction of the works shall be completed within a maximum of 180
calendar days for each project from the commencement of the work.
7. Bidders
are requested to fill all the necessary details in the schedules.
8. This
invitation to bid is open to all bidders of Categories GC or BC 6 &
above regularly registered with the Ministry of Works and Urban
Development and with renewed License for the year under bid.
9. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all the bids.
