The Shashemene Forest Industry Enterprise invites wax-sealed bids
from eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary labor, materials,
equipment and service for the construction of project indicated
below.

1. Interested
and eligible bidders may obtain the bidding document upon payment of
non-refundable Birr 200 from the Head Office of the Enterprise
located at he town of Arsi-Negele, West Arsi Zone, and also from its
sales office located office located at Addis Ababa, near Kabena
Shell fuel station, during on office hours, starting from April 27,
2006.
2. All
bidders must provide tax clearance paper from the concerned
Authority and Trade license valid for the year 1998 E.C./2006 G.C.
and also VAT registration certificate in its original and copy.
3. Bidders
are required to fill all the necessary detailed information in the
bid document.
4.
The construction works shall be completed within 120 calendar
days.
5.
All bids must be delivered to the Head office of Shashemene
Forest Industry Enterprise from April 27, 2006 up to May 26, 2006,
12:00 A.M. local time, in a wax-sealed envelope and endorsed in to
the box prepared for the purpose of this bid.
6. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to 2% of the
total sum of bid price in C.P.O.
7. All
bidders must provide original, copy bid bond and supporting
documents in separate or their representative who choose to attend
at 2:00 P.M. local time on May 26th 2006.
8. The
bids shall be opened at the Head Office of the Enterprise in the
presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at
2:00 P.M. local time on May 26, 2006.
9. It
is impossible for any bidders to quote bid price depending on price
quoted by another bidders.
10. The
Enterprise e reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids
without giving any reason thereof.
