1. The
Ethiopian Eclectic Power Corporation (EEPCo) has allocated a budget
in various currencies towards the cost of Customer Contribution and
Distribution Extension & Maintenance Programs.
2. The
program consists of distribution extension and maintenance work is
various parts of the country.
3.
The Ethiopian Electric
Power Corporation (EEPCo) now invites sealed bids from all
internationally competitive bidders of the world to participate in
the bid for the design, manufacture and supply of distribution
materials under one or more of the following lots.
Lot 1-15/0.4kV & 33/0.4kV
Distribution Transformers
Lot 2-04kV Miniature Automatic
Circuit Breakers
4. Bidders
should submit offers for complete items for each lot.
5.
All local agents shall
have a valid business license.
6.
Bidders shall have
prior considerable experience in design and supply of similar size
and type of goods as required by the specific tender.
7. The
bid document shall be available from May 2, 2006 onwards against
payment receipt of Birr 500 (Five Hundred) for each Lot from the
Procurement Division. All bid must be accompanied by bid security as
per he bid requirement, and must be delivered to the address below
at or before 4:00 P.M. local time (Addis Ababa) on June 15, 2006.
8. Bids
will be opened on June 16, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. local time in the
presence of Bidders/representatives who choose to attend the bid
opening to the be held at Mexico Square, EEPCo. Club, Addis Ababa.
9. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation reserves the right to reject
any or all bids.
10. Bidders
are advised to submit their offer after examining the bid document
very carefully.
