1. The
Borena Zone Health Office invites contractors of category GC/BC
class 6 and above who have a registration certificate and license
valid for the year 2005/2006 from eligible bidders of furnishing the
necessary labor, material equipment and services for the
construction and completion of health centers in the zones at Tuqa (Moyale
Woreda) Hidilola (Miyo Woreda) and Malka Soda (Dugda Dawa Woreda)
2. The
bid documents shall be available from the office against payment of
a non-refundable fee of Birr 200 during office hours upon
presentation of copy of registration certificate, renewed license
and VAT registration certificate.
3.
Interested eligible
bidders may obtain further information at the office of Zonal Health
Office, Tel. 046 446 02 64 Yabello.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 1% of the project
estimate in the form of a bank, insurance guarantee in cash or
C.P.O.
5. Bid
shall be submitted in one original and one copy with financial offer
in sealed envelopes including bid bond I a separate envelope
together. Failure to do this will result in automatic rejection.
6. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose
on or before 6:00 A.M. local time on the 15th day of the
bid starting form the date of announcement on The Ethiopian Herald.
7.
Bids will be opened in
the presence of bidders and /or their representatives who wish to
attend, on the same time at 9:00 P.M. local time.
8.
The department
reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
