Second Call
Ethiopian
Telecommunications Corporation (ETC) invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for the procurement of different types of tyres and
tubes.
1.
The Tender remains
floating from April 5, 2006 to April 26, 2006. Bid documents can be
obtained form ETC’s Head Office refundable fee of Birr 30 (thirty
Birr). Bidders should submit all their relevant renewed original
license & copies when they come to obtain the bid document.
2. Bidders
shall furnish as part of their bid, bid security Birr 10,000 (Birr
Ten Thousand only).
3. The
bid bond must be in either of the following form:
a)
Cash
b)
Certified cheque (CPO) issued by a recognized bank or
c)
Bank
guarantee from recognized bank
4. Bidders
who wish to submit bid security in the form of cash are required to
deposit to our finance office before 9:30 A.M., April 27, 2006 and
produce the receipt during the bid opening.
5. Bidders
should prepare their offer in a wax-sealed envelope and deposit in
the box situated at ETC’s Head Office 1st floor Room No.
112 on or before April 26, 2006 up to 5:30 P.M.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their
represeatnvies at 10:00 A.M. on April 27, 2006 at ETC’s Head Office
Room No. 111.
7. Partial
bid is allowed.
8. The
Corporation reserves the right to reject all or part of the bids.
