1. Rural
roads Authority of the Amhara National Regional State invites all
eligible local Contractors of category RC5 or GC5
or BC4 and above with license valid for the year
2005/2006 and registered for VAT to submit sealed bids for providing
the necessary labour, materials and equipment for the construction
of 3-River Bridger Project (Guangi, Chercher and Gelego River)
with length 20, 22 and 25 meters single span Reinforced Girder
Bridges and Masonry Abutments respectively.
2. Each
perspective bidders proposing to bid for this project must be
eligible fulfilling the requirements of Clause 3 of the Particular
Instruction of the Project.
3. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bides on the written application to the above address and
payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (One Hundred Birr only).
4. Duplicate
copies of bid offer with Separate Technical Qualification and
Financial Proposal Documents in a wax-sealed envelopes, labeled as
Original and Copy shall be placed in the bid box long
with a bid security not less than 1% of the bid amount. The bid
security shall be payable on demand to the Office, and must be an
irrevocable Bank Guarantee.
The bid along with the bid security must be delivered to the above
address before May 02, 2006 at 2:00 P.M.
5. Bid
will be opened in the presence of bidders/represeatnvies who choose
to attend at 2:30 P.M. on May 02, 2006 at the Office addressed
above.
6.
The Construction of
the works shall be completed within 240 calendar days from
commencement of the work.
7. The
Office reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive
informalities, to advertise for new bids or to proceed and do the
work otherwise as may be for its best interest.
