1. Addis
Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority invites interested eligible
bidders for the supply of Coagulant Aid.
2. The
bid documents shall be available from the same office against
payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200 during office hours upon
presentation of registration certificate from the Federal Ministry
of Finance and Economic Development renewed trade license for the
year and VAT registration certificate.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information at the office of
A.A.W.S.A.’s Materials Management Department, Room No. 227, P.O. Box
1505, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Tel. 011 662 18 02/662 49 72, Fax (251)
662 39 24.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 10,000 up to
50,000 for in the form of a Bank Guarantee of Cashier’s Payment of
Order (CPO) or Cash. Bid Bond in any other form shall not be
acceptable.
5. Bids
shall be submitted in two envelopes: 1 Technical envelope 2.
Financial envelope each having one original and one copy.
6. All
eligibility certificates cited under 2 should be found in the
original technical envelope, and be submitted in the tender box on
the closing date.
7. Bid
Bond should be in separate envelope and be submitted in the tender
box together with the original technical envelope.
8. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose
at or before 5:00 P.M. local time on June 14, 2006.
9. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their official
representatives who wish to attend, on June 15, 2006 at 11:00
A.M. local.
10. The
Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
Failure to
comply any of the conditions from (4) to (8) above will result in
automatic rejection.
