Tigray Regional State thorough the Government of Ethiopia has
received credit from the International Development Association
toward the cost of the Water Supply and Sanitation Project and it
intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments
under the Contract for Procurement of Hand Pumps and Spare parts for
the Rural Water Supply Program in the Region.

invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the
supply of 270 Afridev hand pumps. The Bureau may purchase
additional hand pumps from the same supplier provided the
performance during the first lot purchase is satisfactory. Bidders
are required to supply the pumps at the above indicated distribution
outlet centers and keep spare parts shop as well as the hand pumps
for collection by the community at different time through the year.

bid price in local currency.
