Description

Ethiopian Telecommunications Corporation (ETC) (Fixed Line) Legehar Building) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of Building construction.

1.       The tender remains floating from 8/8/06 until to 28/08/06. Bid document can be obtained from ETC’s (FIXED LINE) Legehar Building, 3^rd floor, Office Room No. 332, during office hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 20.00 (Twenty Birr). Bidders should submit all their renewed original license & VAT certificate with copies (if they are registered) when they come to obtain the bid documents.

2.      Bidders shall furnish as part of their bid, security of Birr 3,000 (Birr Three Thousand).

3.      The Bid bond must be in either of the following form:

a)      Cash

b)      Certified cheque (CPO) issued by a recognized Bank or

c)      Bank guarantee from recognized bank

4.      Bidders who wish to submit bid security in the form of cash are required to deposit to ETC (Fixed Line) Legehar Building underground cashier before August 28, 2006 at 5:00 P.M. and produce the receipt before August 28, 2006 at 5:00 P.M. and produce the receipt during the bid opening.

5.      Bidders should prepare their offer in a wax-sealed envelope and deposit in the box situated at 3^rd floor Room No. 321 on or before August 28, 2006 at 5:00 P.M.

6.      Bids will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives at ETC (Fixed Line) Legehar Building 4^th floor Room No. 402, on August 29, 2006 at 2:00 P.M.

7.      Partial bid is allowed.

8.      The Corporation reserves the right to reject all or part of the bids.
