1. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) owned a larger number
of transport fleet for its main operations and project construction
activities. Major maintenance and Services of the transport fleet is
being done at the Corporation maintenance workshop located at Kotebe
area. To support the maintenance activities, the Corporation needs
to have a reliable supplier(s) who supplies genuine spare parts on
just-in time basis at a completive price over a certain contract
period (at least a minimum of one year). Hence, the Corporation
invited all eligible suppliers to bid for different models of
Toyota, Scania Nissan, Isuzu, Ford, Hino, and Fiat vehicle spar
parts, wind shield glass and different Automotive batteries.
2. Bidders
can bid for one or more or the all Lots.
3. A
bidders shall offer at least 80% of line of items for a Lots
4. Bidders
must be VAT registered.
5. Bidders
shall have are renewed trade license for the fiscal year.
6. The
Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject the tender
partially or totally.
7. Interested
bidders may purchase a complete set of the bid document against
payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 200 from the office of
Purchasing Division at the Corporation Head Office during working
hours. The bid document in prepared in English.
8. Bids
must be accompanied with bid bond of Birr 20,000. The bid bond
should be either in the form of Certified Cheque or CPO.
9. The
bid will be closed on later than 11:30 local time on September 21,
2006 and bidders shall sent their bids on or before the closing date
at the following address:

10. Bids
will be opened at 3:00 P.M. local time on September 21, 2006 at
Electric Club, Mexico Square, in the presence of bidders and/or
their representatives.
