The Oromia Development Association (ODA) in its effort to modernize
its information system has got financial assistance from The David
and Lucile Packard Foundation. In line with this idea the first
phase of the systems analysis and design task has been completed.
This study will be followed by the system coding, testing, deploying
and post implementation phase activities. The development and
implementation of this highly recommended modern MIS and the
acquisition of the essential information technology infrastructure
promote the Association to its expected efficiency level.
ODA
has therefore planned to contract:
Supply & delivery of Desktop computers, server computers, printers,
network printers and accessories.
Design the UTP cable layout and installation of cable and cable
management system
Design networking system, Internet connection at the Headquarter and
WAN link between the Headquarter and Bole Office.
Develop/customize software for business database and prepare a
standards system documentation manuals and train end users.
1. Oromia
Development Association now invites sealed bids from eligible
bidders for one or two or for all of the items listed above.
2. A
TOR (Terms of Reference) may be purchased by any interested eligible
bidders on submission of a written application to the office of
Oromia Development Association & upon payment of non-refundable fee
of Birr 50 (Birr Fifty only) starting from the first date of
advertisement up to 20 calendar days.
3. Bids
must be delivered to the address stated below before and it 12:00
A.M. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the
presence of the bidders/bidders’ representatives at 2:30 P.M.
on the closing date.
4. All
interested bidders are required to provide evidence that they are
capable of undertaking the project/projects.
5. The
bidders shall furnish a bid security amounts to (2%) of the total
bid price in the form of CPO.
6. The
bidders shall submit their wax-sealed bid amount marked in one
“ORIGINAL” and one “COPY” to Oromia Development Association Head
Office, Addis Ababa.
7. All
suppliers must have Value Added Tax (VAT) registration license.
8. The
employer reserves the right to reject partial or all bids.
