1. The
Oromia Water Resources Bureau (OWRB) has secured a budget form the
Regional State of Oromia towards the cost of Nekemte Town Water
Supply Project.
2. It
is intended that part of the proceeds of this budget will be applied
to eligible payments under the contract for the supply of Pipes,
Fittings, Valves and Water Meters.
3. The
Oromia Water Resources Bureau now invited sealed bid from eligible
bidders for the Supply of Pipes, Fittings, Valves and Water
Meters.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the
bidding documents at the office: Bole Road, Sixth Floor, Room No.

550 96 22, fax No. 251 11 551 77 56, Finfinne, Ethiopia.

A complete set of bidding document may be purchased by any
interested eligible bidder on submission of written application
together with renewed relevant license, registration card issued
from the Ministry of Finance & Economic Development, to the above
office, registration card for VAT, taxpayer registration certificate
(Tax Identification Number/TIN) and upon payment of non-refundable
fee of Birr 300 (Three Hundred Birr). Sealed bids must be delivered
to the above office on or before 25th October 2006 at
12:00 A.M. local time.
6. All
bid must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 1% (One
percent) of the bid amount in the form of:
a. CPO
or Bank Guarantee or irrevocable letter of credit issued by a
reputable bank or
b.
A cashier’s or certified cheque
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidder or their representatives
who choose to attend on 25th October 2006 at 2:00 P.M.
local time at the office of the Bureau Head, Finfinnee,
Ethiopia.
8. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening.
9.
The Oromia Water Resources Bureau reserves the right to
reject any or all bids.
