1. The
Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) invites eligible bidders for the
supply of Office & Household Equipment and Maintenance Tools and
Tellers’ Note Counting Machine such as: under Lot I
Bilingual Electronic Typewriters, Manual English typewriter (long
carriage), Manual English Typewriter (medium carriage);
Lot II. Petty cash save, Cash Box;
under
Lot III. Refrigerators;
Lot IV. Metal Detector
Lot V. Detecting Machine (US, Euro &
Pound sterling);
Lot VI. Electronic Equipment
Maintenance Tools (Engineering Tools)
Lot VII. Tellers’ Not Counting
Machine (Heavy Duty),
Tellers’ Not Counting
Machine (Medium Size)
2. Bidders
who can produce (copy) of renewed Trade License, Registration
Certificate from Ministry of Finance and Economic Development and
VAT Registration Certificate from the concerned government organ may
obtain the bid document from the CBE’s Supplies Division office
located at Gofa Sefer Branch Building (in front of Addis Ababa
Abattoirs Enterprise) 3rd floor Room No. 304 against
non-refundable payment of Birr 50.00 (Fifty Birr only).
3. Bidders
shall quote their proposals for one or more lots.
4. Bidders
shall submit and deposit their sealed bid proposals (technical &
financial separately) into the bid box placed at the same office
indicated above before the closing time.
5. Bid
proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amounts indicated
below.

6. Bid
closing date shall be on August 31, 2006 at 9:00 A.M.
and will be opened on the same date at 9:30 A.M. for both in the
presence of interested bidders or their representatives at the
office of the CBE’s Supplies Division indicated under Item No. 2
herein above.
7. No
bid shall be accepted after the deadline.
