1. The
Addis Ababa University has received funds from Word Bank to be used
for the procurement of:
Computer and Computer’s
Accessories
2. The
Addis Ababa University invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for
the Computer and Computer’s Accessories
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering
procedures contained in the World Bank and is open to all bidders
from eligible source countries.
4. Interesting
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Purchasing
Division, Addis Ababa University and inspects the biding documents
at the address given below at 7 (a) from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
except lunch time during working days.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by
interested bidders at the address below at 7 (b) and upon payment of
a non-refundable fee of ETB 100 (Ethiopian Birr Hundred Birr) or
equivalent amount in freely convertible Foreign Currencies plus
postage or courier charges if bidding documents should be mailed
abroad to the bidders. The method of payment will be in cash or for
foreign bidders by cashier’s cheque. Bid documents will be sent by
Post or courier. No liability will be accepted for loss or late
delivery.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7 (c) at or before 2:00
P.M. (8:00 local time) January 02, 2007. All bids must be
accompanied by a bid security of:

ETB 8,000 (Ethiopian Birr Eight Thousand) or an equivalent amount in
a freely convertible currencies). Late bids shall be rejected. Bids
will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who
choose to attend at the address below at 7 (d) at 2:30 P.M. (8:30
local time) January 02, 2007.
