1.
The Educational Materials Production and Distribution
Enterprise (EMPDE) intends to procure different types of machines
and Forklift.
2. Bids
are invited from eligible bidders for the supply of different types
of Machines and Forklift.
3. Detailed
information will be found in the biding document which are
obtainable during working hours from the Commercial Department of
EMPDE, Room No. 35 upon payment of a non-refundable amount of Birr
230 (Two Hundred Thirty Only) as of December 4, 2006.
4. Bidders
required bidding document by first class Air Mail should send a
Crossed Bank Draft of Birr 200 or an equivalent amount in foreign
currency draw in favour of EMPDE, in addition to the price of the
document indicated in paragraph 3.
5. Bids
must be submitted sealed and Marked as Tender No. EMPDE
2/1999/ICB/2006. Machines and Forklift at the address started in
paragraphs 6 below.
6. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond amount of 2% in the currency
of the bid in the form of a Bank Guarantee or CPO Cheque established
through any Commercial Bank in Ethiopia, addressed to EMPDE, P.O.
Box 5549, Tel. 46 35 55 Ext. 230/221 so as to reach it on or before
January 18, 2007 at 9:30 A.M.
7. The
Education Materials Production and Distribution Enterprise (EMPDE)
reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
