1. The
Afar National Regional State-Health Bureau and Harari People NRS-Education
& Capacity Building Bureau have funds from Italian Cooperation and
their own budget respectively to be used for the Procurement of the
Office Equipment and office Machines and Metal Working Machines,
Accessories and Tools for the Regional State-Health and Education
and Capacity Building Bureaus.
2. The
Procurement Service Enterprise on behalf of Afar National Regional
State-Health Bureau and Harari People NRS-Education and Capacity
Building Bureau hereby invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for

3. Bidding
will be conducted accordance with the open international tendering
procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the
Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is
open to all bidders from eligible source countries.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement
Services Enterprise and inspect the bidding documents at the
address below during office hours from Monday to Thursday Morning
8:00 A.M. -12:00 noon and Afternoon 1:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M. and Friday
Morning 8:00 A.M. -11:30 A.M. and Afternoon 1:30 P.M. -5:00 P.M.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may be
purchased by interested bidders at the address below and upon
payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 150 (One Hundred Fifty only)
for Lot 1, Birr 75 (Seventy Five only) for Lot 2, and Birr 100 (One
Hundred only) for Lot 3 from the office of the Procurement Services
Enterprise 1st Floor Room No. 2.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at or before January 4, 2007
at 2:30 P.M. All bids must be accompanied by bid security of
amounting Birr 5,000 (Five Thousand only) for all Lots. Late bids
shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the
bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below on
January 4, 2007 at 2:30 P.M.
7. The
bid opening date and hour shall be January 4, 2007 at 2:30 P.M.
8.
The purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all bids.
