Re-Bid
1. The
Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority invites interested eligible
bidders for the supply of Electrical Spare Parts.
2. The
bid documents shall be obtained from the same office against payment
of a non-refundable fee of Birr 50 during office hours upon
presentation of registration certificate from the Federal Ministry
of Finance & Economic Development, renewed Trade License for the
year & VAT registration certificate.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information at the office of
A.A.W.S.A.'s Material Management Department, 2nd floor,

4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of Birr 3,000 up to 5,000 in
the form of a bank Guarantee or Cahier’s Payment Order (CPO) or
Cash. Bid bond in any other form shall not be acceptable.
5. Bids
shall be submitted in two separate envelopes: 1. Technical envelope
2. Financial envelope each having one original and one copy.
6.
All eligibility
certificates under No. 2 should be found in the original technical
envelope, and be submitted in the tender box on the closing date.
7. Bids
bond should be in a separate envelope and be submitted in the tender
box together with the original technical envelope.
8. All
bids must be deposit in the tender box prepared for this purpose on
or before 5:00 P.M. local time on March 29, 2006.
9.
Bids will be opened in
the presence of bidders and/or their official representatives who
wish to attend, on March 30, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. local time.
10. The
Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
Failure to comply
any or the conditions from (4) to (8) above will result in automatic
rejection.
