The Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) has been conducting a broad Corporate Reform Program that has an ultimate goal of improving the Quality of the Service that it delivers to the public. Reforming the Auxiliary Services Financial System as a profit center is among the multi-faceted reform program of the Corporation. To this end, the Corporation invites all interested and eligible bidders for developing an implementing profit center based financial system to the Auxiliary Services Department.

1.      The bid is open for those who have renewed their trade license for the 1998 ETH budget year.

2.      Bid document can be obtained from the Purchasing Division, at EEPCo Head Office during office hours upon a payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (Birr One Hundred only) from the issuance date of this notice on The Ethiopian Herald Newspaper.

3.      All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 10,000 (Birr Ten Thousand only). The bid security shall be in the form of certified check or a Bank guarantee.

4.      Bids must be delivered to the Purchasing Division, at the Head Office of the Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation Tel. No. 011 156 00 27, Addis Ababa on or before March 7, 2006 at 12:00 A.M. and will be opened at the same date and same place at 2:00 P.M. in the presence of bidders or their representatives.

5.      Bidders have to read the instruction to bidders carefully; failure to comply with the requirements of the bidding document may result in automatic rejection.

6.      Interested eligible bidders may get further information from the Auxiliary Serviced Department Via Telephone 011 6 46 32 12 13 or 011 6 45 71 68.

7.       The Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
