The Government of Tigray National Regional State Water Resources,
Mines and Energy Bureau would like to contract out
Lot 1: Feasibility study &
Detail design Consultancy Services for Hangoda Irrigation Project.
Lot 2: Feasibility study &
Detail design Consultancy Services for Suluh-7 Irrigation Project.
The Bureau now invites all water Resources (general) or
Irrigation/Drainage or Hydropower Consulting Firms with renewed
license & VAT registered for the year under bid to submit technical
and financial proposals for consulting services required for the
assignments named above. Interested consultants must provide
information indicating that they are qualified and licensed to
perform such type of work, and past experience in similar projects.
The sealed envelope containing the technical and financial proposals
separately as well as the bid bond should be in a separate envelope
shall be addressed to Tigray Region Water Resources, Mines and
Energy Bureau, P.O. Box 520, Telephone 251 34 441 17 95/440 66 779,
Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia or submitted to office No. 05 not
later than 11th August 2006 at 9:00 A.M. The bid
will be opened in the same date in the presence of the consultants
or their representatives including those of the absentees at the
above stated office at 9:30 A.M.
1. A
complete set of the document may be purchased by any interested
eligible consultants on the submission of a written application to
the Bureau and upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 400
(Four Hundred Birr) for each lot. A bid security of the amount
Birr 30,000 (Thirty Thousand Birr) for each lot in CPO form
has to be provided during the opening of the bid.
2. Consultants
required clarification of the document must notify the client in
writing not later than ten days before the proposal submission
deadline.
3. A
firm will be selected under Quality and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS)
method and procedures described in this Request for Proposals (RFP).
4. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
