1. The
Federal Government of Ethiopia has allocated budget towards the cost
of the Universal Electricity Access Program for increasing people’s
access to electricity in rural towns and villages.
2. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) now invites all
interested and eligible bidders for the following contracts:
Lot 1-Medium
Voltage Cross arms
Lot 2-Medium
Voltage Pins
Lot 3-Medium
Voltage Fittings (Collar, Bracket, Tie strap and Bolt and
Nuts
Lot 4-Over Head
Line Accessories
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the
bidding documents at the office of:

4. The
bid document shall be available from July 12, 2006 onwards
against payment of non-refundable fee of ETH. Birr 500 for each
lot.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the bid price,
and must be delivered to the address above at or before 11:30
hours local time on August 25, 2006.
6. Bids
will be opened on August 25, 2006, 14:30 hours local time in
the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to
attend at EEPCO Club, Mexico Square, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
7. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation reserves the right to reject
all or part of this bid.
