The Ministry of
Education of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has
received funding Assistance from Six European Countries for its
Teacher Development Programme (TDP). The Ministry wants to use part
of the fund:
To run a
pert-time international standard MEd Programme in Trainer
Development in ELT/ESP, to commence in September 2006 and a parallel
continuous professional development Programme (CPD) for the national
staff/institutions who will take over responsibility for the
Programme within 2 years.
The Ministry of
looking for institutions that have international reputations and can
run me MEd Programme in ELT/ESP and provide professional development
for national staff.
1.
Interested bidders may
collect the bidding document as of July 3, 2006 from the Ministry of
Educational Old Building Room No. 32.
2.
Bidders may purchase a
complete set of bidding documents upon payment of a non-refundable
fee of Birr 100 (Hundred Birr) ten euros, or equivalent payment will
be made in cash or check. For postal delivery of the bidding
documents, additional 10 euros or equivalent is required and the
document will be sent by postal courier.
3.
Bids must be
accompanied by a bid security of Birr 50,000 (Fifty Thousand Birr).
5000 euros or equivalent currency and must be delivered to the above
office on or before August 31st, 2006, 10:00 A.M. in Bank
guarantee or certificate check.
4. Bids
will be opened on August 31st, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. at the
Ministry of Education Office No. 32 in the presence of
bidders/representatives who choose to attend.
