RE-BID
To: All
contractors with license valid for the current fiscal year
1. It
is to be recalled the Food for the Hungry International/Ethiopia had
planned to drill and construct two water points in Borena Zone
Teltelle district and invited bidders by announcing on local news
paper (Monitor) published on June 17, 2006. After examining the
result of the bid FHI has decided that there is a need to amend the
bid document a little bid and invite more eligible contractors
though re bidding the contract. Therefore, eligible bidders are
hereby invited for a wax-sealed bid to perform the work.
2. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased upon payment of
Birr 100 (One Hundred) by interested eligible bidders on the
submission of valid original and copy Trade License with a written
application to:

Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding
documents at the above office located in Addis Ababa, Bole Kifle
Ketema, Kebele 03, and House No. 217, Near Hayat Hospital (Tel. 011
662 19 77, Fax 011 662 07 77).
3. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the bid amount,
in acceptable (Insurance, CPO or Bank Guarantee etc.) and must be
delivered to FHI-Ethiopia on or before 5:00 on Friday, July 21,
2006.
4. Bids
will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s or their
represeatnvies who they choose to attend on Monday 24 July 2006 at
10:00 A.M. at the office of FHI-Ethiopia.
5. The
drilling and construction of the deep wells shall be completed
within a maximum of 90 (Ninety) calendar days from the commencement
of the work.
6. FHI
still reserves the right to accept or reject the bid at any time
prior to award of the contract
