1. The
Afar National Regional State Trade and Industry Bureau
invites wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders for furnishing the
necessary labour, materials and equipment for the construction,
reparation of Office Building Remaining works at samara and
to offer the completion time of the project.
2. A
complete set of bidding documents can be purchased as of Hamele
10/1998 by any interested eligible bidders on the submission of
a written application to the Construction Design Share
Company (CDSCo) and upon, payment of birr 620.
3. Additional
sets of documents can be purchased each at the same price.
4. Bidders
may obtain further information form, and inspect the bidding
documents at Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo) Studio 1,
Block 5, Addis Ababa, Tel. 011 440 33 62 or 011 442 08 00 (Ext. 251,
239)
5. All
bids must accompanied by a bid security, 1% of the bid amount, to a
maximum of Birr 100,000 or 3000 to 5000 for bid amount 40,001 up to
500,000 from recognized financial institutions payable of first
demand Addressed to the employer and must be delivered to
Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo) on or before 12:00 hrs.

Bids will be opened in the presence of those bidder’s or
their legal represeatnvies on 14:30 ours of Nehase 1/1998 at
the office of CDSCo. 3rd Floor Tender Hall Room No.
128.

Bidders are instructed to submit One “Original” and One
“Photocopy” of Original bid documents with all entries and to
be sealed under separate envelopes.

The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Bidders are instructed to fill, sign
and seal all the forms of the bid documents. Failure of this
instruction is automatic rejection.
All bids must include Value Added
Tax (VAT) on the summary of price.
Bidders are strongly advised to
visit the site at their own expense.
