1. The
Government of Ethiopia has received a Credit from the International
Development Association towards the cost of Energy Access Project,
and it intend to apply part of the proceeds of their loan to
payments under the contract for the procurement of Vehicles.
2. The
Rural Electrification Executive Secretariat now invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders for the procurement of:
Six double cabin pickup Vehicles
3. Qualification
requirements include: Domestic suppliers must provide VAT
registration certificate.
4. A
complete set of bidding documents prepared in English may be
purchased by the interested bidders on the submission of a written
application to the address below upon payment of a non-refundable
fee of Birr 250 (Monday-Friday) 8:30 A.M. to 12:00 A.M. and 1:30
P.M. to 5:00 P.M. starting from 21 July 2006.
5. Bids
must be delivered to the address below on or before 3:00 P.M. August
23, 2006. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the
presence of bidders/bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in
person at 3:30 P.M. August 23, 2006. All bids must be accompanied by
bid security not less than 2% of the bid price.
