all contractors of category WC Class 6 and above with renewed
license valid for the year 1998E.C.
The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit
from the International Development Association toward the cost of
the Emergency Recovery Project and it intends to apply part of the
proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contract for
the construction of water supply distribution system at Adequa,
Gerset, Bada Ademrug and Bada Hermila in Afar Region. Bidders may
bid for one selected site or for all sites.
A
complete set of bidding documents for all sites may be purchased by
any interested eligible bidders at the ERPMU office Room No. 46/49
upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (One Hundred).
Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding
document at the address indicated below.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the bid
amount in an acceptable form (cash, CPO, or Bank Guarantee) valid
for 90 days and must be delivered to the address below on or before
August 21, 2006, 10:00 A.M.
Bids will be opened and read on the same date in the presence of
bidders or their represeatnvies who choose to attend on August 21,
2006, 10:30 A.M. at conference hall Room No. 72.
Bidders are requested to fill all he necessary details in the
schedules. The Office reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
