Description

1.      Our Enterprise invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of Two Complete sets of sawmill machines with Power Generating Diesel Engines & it consists of:

-2 Units of circular saw machines
-2 Units of vertical Re-saw machines
-2 Units of Board/Slab edger machines

2.      Interested and eligible bidders may obtain the bidding document upon payment of non-refundable 200 ETB (Two Hundred Birr only) from the Head office of the Enterprise located at the town of Arsi-Negele, West Arsi Zone, and from sales office located at Addis Ababa, near Kebena Shell fuel station, during and office hours starting from July 26, 2006.

3.      All bidders are required to present VAT registration certificate & Trade license valid for 1998 E.C.

4.      Bids must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to 2% of the total sum of bid price of the machineries in C.P.O.

5.      All bids must be delivered to the Head Office of Shashemene Forest Industry Enterprise from 26^th July 2006 to 31^st August 2006, 12:00 A.M. local time, in a wax-sealed envelope and endorsed in to the box prepared for the purpose of this bid.

6.      The bids shall be opened at the Head office of the Enterprise in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at 2:00 P.M. local time on August 31^st 2006.

7.      It is impossible for any bidders to quote bid price depending on price quoted by any other bidder.

8.      The Enterprise reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without giving any reason t thereof.
