1.
The (commission
of the African Union) has received a grant from the
African Development Bank in various currencies to finance the cost
of Creation of Sustainable Tsetse and Trypanosomiasis free
areas in East and West Africa. It is intended that part of the
proceeds of this grant will be applied to eligible payments under
the contract for procurements of goods.
2. The
Commission of the African Union now invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for the supply of (LOT 1 and LOT 2) which comprise
the items listed below:

3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the
Bidding documents at the office of The Director of Administration &
Human Resources Development, Commission of the African Union, Room

4.
A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by
interested bidders on submission of a written application to the
above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 300 Ethiopian Birr
or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency.
5. The
provisions in the instruction to bidders and in the General
Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development
Bank Standard Bidding Documents: Procurement of Goods.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the above office on or before 1700 hours on 15
August 2006 and must be accompanied by a security of 4,000 Ethiopian
Birr.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose
to attend at 1730 hours on 15 August 2006, at office of The Director
of Administration & Human Resources Development, Commission of the
African Union. |
