1. The
Educational Materials Production and Distribution Enterprise (EMPDE)
intends to procure different types printing paper for its printing
house
2. Bids
are invited from eligible bidders for the supply of different types
of printing paper.
3. Detailed
information will be found in the bidding document which are
obtainable during working hours from the Commercial Department of
EMPDE, Room No. 35 upon payment of a non-refundable amount of Birr
230 (Two Hundred Thirty Only). As of July 10, 2006.
4. Bidders
requiring bidding document by first class Air Mail should send a
Crossed Bank Draft and Birr 200 or an equivalent amount in foreign
currency drawn in favour of EMPDE, in addition to the price of the
document indicated in paragraph 3.
5. Sealed
bids must be submitted with the marking Tender No. EMPDE
4/1998/ICB/2006. for Supply of different types of printing paper at
the address stated in paragraphs 6 below.
6. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond amount of 2% in the currency
of the bid in the form of a Bank Guarantee or CPO Cheque established
through any Commercial Bank in Ethiopia, addressed to EMPDE, P.O.
Box 5549, Tel. 46 34 81/46 35 55 Ext. 230/203 so as to reach it on
or before August 23, 2006 at 9:30 A.M.
7. The
Educational Materials Production and Distribution Enterprise (EMPDE)
reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
