The Food Security Coordination Bureau/Ministry of Agriculture and
Rural Development has received a grant from World Bank to implements
the productive Safety Net Programme. It intends to apply part of the
proceeds of this grant to eligible payment under the contract for
hiring of Consultants, to carry out the evaluation of the Direct
Support Component of selected Woredas of Amhara, Tigray and SNNPR
Regions. Main task areas:
To
asses the effectiveness of the Direct Support Component and the
extent to which the component is being implemented as designed and
to suggest ways in which implementation might be further enhanced to
meet the Programmer’s objectives.
The MOARD now invites eligible consultants to indicate their
interest in the providing the services.
Interested consultant must provide information indicated that they
are qualified to perform for the services (brochures, description of
similar assignment, experience in similar conditions, availability
of appropriate skill among staff, etc….) consultants may associate
to enhance their qualifications.
A
consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set
out in the world Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of
consultants by world Bank Borrowers May 2004.
