Description

1.      The Ethiopian Roads Authority invites sealed bids from registered suppliers under International Competitive Bidding (LCB) for the supply of two Mobile Weighbridges to be delivered at Addis Ababa ERA Central Warehouse.

2.     Where Supplies wish to participate for this b id but not yet registered in the approved suppliers’ list may apply to the relevant authority for registration.

3.     The bidding document may be purchased by interested suppliers form the above office against payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 or in another freely convertible currency of equivalent amount an upon presentation of Trade License renewed for 1998 EC., tax clearance certificate and VAT registration certificate.

4.      This invitation for bid is open to all interested bidders regardless of their nationality and the bid evaluation and award shall be determined in accordance with the provisions indicated in the bidding document. The bid document is prepared in English Language.

5.      Bids must be delivered to the above office or deposited in the Tender Box situated at the 1^st floor Room No. 106 before the closing date and time on July 27, 2006, 10:00 A.M. local time.

6.      Bids must be accompanied with a bid Security of not less than Birr 10,000.00 or in another freely convertible currency of equivalent amount. The Bid Bond security should be either in the form of cahier’s cheque or certified cheque or Letter of Credit or Bank guarantee or cash deposited against receipt. Bid securi9tyuies in the form of Insurance bond or in any form other than these shall not be accepted.

7.      Bids will be opened at 10:00 A.M. local time on July 27, 2006, in the Ethiopian Roads Authority Conference Room located at the 4^th floor, in the presence of bidders and/or their representatives who choose to attend.

8.      The Ethiopian Roads Authority reserves its rights to reject any or all bids.
