The Tigray
Regional Education Bureau intend to construct Primary Schools in
Western Zone of the Region by the budget allocated by Food security
as per the list below.

1. All
contractors of category GC/BC class 7 and above with renewed
license, VAT valid for the year 1998 E.C., short listed in the
Bureau of Industry and Trade of Tigray Region and with renewed
registration certificate of Tigray Rigion.
2. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain the bidding documents by a written
application and further information from Design and Contract
Administration Division Rm. No. 34 upon a non-refundable payment of
Eth. Birr 200 per document after this announcement until 30th
Day.
3. Bid
can be personally deposited or mailed separately to the Tigray
Regional Education Bureau along with Birr 7, 000 (Seven Thousand
Birr) bid bond per site in an acceptable C.P.O. or unconditional
bank guarantee in a sealed envelope on or before 31st day
after announcement at 11:00 A.M. with a marking of bid for tender
No. GOV. 02/98.’
4. Bid
will be opened in the presence of bides or their represeatnvies who
choose to attend on the same date and place at 2:00 P.M.
5. The
Construction of the works shall be completed within 160 calendar
days, from commencement of the work.
6. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject the bid.
