Ethiopian Telecommunications Corporation (ETC) invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders for the Procurement of the following

1. The
Tender remains floating from June 19, 2006 to July 10, 2006.
Interested & qualified bidders may obtain the bidding documents form
ETC’s Head Office during office hours at Room No. 206 upon payment
of a non-refundable fee of Birr 20.00 starting from June 19, 2006.
2. Bidders
should bring original & one copy of their renewed license & VAT
Registration Certificate upon purchasing the bid document.
3. Bidders
shall furnish as part of their Bid a bid bond amount of Birr 3,500
(Birr Three Thousand Five Hundred Birr) for TL/39/06, Birr 5,000
(Five Thousand Birr) for TL/44/06 and Birr 3,000 (Birr Three
Thousand) for TL/48/06 and TL/49/06 respectively.
4. The
Bid bond must be in either of the following form:
a)
Cash
b)
Certified cheque (CPO)
issued by a recognized Bank or
c)
Bond issued by a
recognized Bank
5. Bidders
who wish to submit bid bond in the form of cash are required to
deposit to our Finance Office before bid opening date and show the
receipt/deposit slip during the bid opening date.
6. Bidders
should submit their offer in a wax-sealed envelope and deposit in
the box provided at ETC’s Head Office Room # 112 July 10, 2006 until
5:30 P.M. and bids will be opened in the presence of interested
bidders or their representatives at ETC’s Head Office Conference
Room No. 111 according to the following schedule.

Corporation reserves the right to reject all or part of the bids.
