1. The
Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has received a grant
from the European Union toward the cost of coffee Improvement
Program. It is intended that the proceeds of this grant will be
applies to eligible payments under the contract the procurement of
the following four lots of items:

2. The
Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the
supply of the above mentioned equipment as described in the
specification.

4. A
complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by
interested bidders to the submission of a written application
together with a renewed relevant license, registration card issued
from the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development and VAT
registration to the address below and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of ETB 100. The method of payment will be in cash
or CPO.
5. The
provisions in the Instruction to Bidders and in the General
Conditions of Contact are the provisions of the European Union
Standard Bidding Documents: Procurement of Goods.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the above office on or before 10:00 A.M. July
17, 2006 and must be accompanied by a security of 1% (one percent)
of the price offer in ETB or Euro.
7. Bids
will be open in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose
to attend at 10:30 A.M. on July 9, 2006.
