1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (EDRE) has formulated a
number of projects for detailed/review of Feasibility, Environmental
Impact Assessment Studies, detailed Engineering Design and Tender
Document Preparation among which the following six project under one
package of top priority:

2. The
Ethiopian Roads Authority invites all Consultants who have a trade
license, tax clearance certificate & VAT registration, evidence of
registered supplier by Public Procurement Agency and a relevant
professional practice certificates renewed for 1998 E.C. from
authorized bodies.

Interested Consultants
may obtain further information and collect the Request for Proposal
Documents from Ethiopian Roads Authority, Engineering Service
Procurement Branch, 2nd floor, Room No. 204, Fax 251 11
551 00 82/551 48 66, Tel. 251 11 515 30 15.

The RFP can be
purchased as of June 2, 2006 upon presentation of the documents
required under (2) above and submission of a written application to
the Engineering Service procurement Design and Technical Support
Division manger and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
Ethiopian Birr 150 made payable to the Ethiopian Roads Authority.
5.
The proposal should be
prepared in one original and four copies and must be submitted d to
the Directors General’s office, Ethiopian Roads Authority, P.O. Box
1770, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Fax 251 11 551 48 66, Tel. 251 11 55 66
03 on or before July 04, 2006 at 2:30 P.M.
6.
The Proposal will be
opened immediately after the closing time for submission in the
presence of ERA’s Contract Award Committee (CAC) and Consultant’s
who wish to attend.
7.
A proposal, which is
received late, will not be considered.
8.
ERA reserves the right
to accept or reject any or all proposals.
