1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit from
the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of
Public Sector Capacity Building Program, and it intends to apply
part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for
the Supply & Delivery of computers, accessories and equipment under
IFB No. PSCAP/BG-ICT/G-01/06.
The Loan amount is US $ 100,000,000.
2. The
Benishangul Gumuz Capacity Building Coordination Office now invites
sealed bids from eligible bidders for supply & Delivery of the
following goods. Bidding will be conducted through National
Competitive Bidding (NCB) Procedures.

3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Benishangul
Gumuz Capacity Building Coordinating Office, Procurement Specialist,

address stated at he end of this IFB below under 6.
4. Bidders
have the option to bid for one or more of the lots and for 100% of
the quantities in each lot. Incomplete lots will no be accepted.
Bidder who have not quoted technically responsible bid for at least
80% of the items in a lot will be considered as incomplete and
rejected as non-responsive
5. A
complete set of bidding document in English may be purchased
by the interested bidders from Ministry of Federal Affairs during
office hours at Room No. 106 upon the submission of a written
application to the address below and payment of non-refundable fee
Birr 50 (Birr Fifty) starting from June 21, 2006 up to July 21,
2006. The method of payment will be in cash only.

Wax-sealed bid document (1 original
& 1copy) shall be delivered to the Ministry of Federal Affairs,
Addis Ababa, Room No. 106, on or before 9:00 A.M. on or before 9:00
A.M. July 21, 2006.
Late bides will be rejected. Bid
will be opened in the presence of the bidders/bidders’
represeatnvies who choose to present in person at 10:00 A.M. on the
same date at the Ministry of Federal Affairs, Room No. 106, Addis
Ababa.
All bids must be accompanied by a
bid security in the amount of Birr 10,000 (Ten Thousand Birr) in the
form of Certificate Cheque, C.P.O. or Bank Guarantee which will be
payable on first demand y the Benishangul Gumuz Regional State
Capacity Building Coordination Office.
