The Addis Ababa City
Government Sanitation, Beautification and Parks Development Agency
invites sealed ids from interested eligible bidders for the supply
of Trucks
Lot I: Detachable container
System multi loader garbage transporter dump truck 8m3,
4x2
Lot II: Detachable container
system multi loader garbage transporter dump truck 15m3,
6x4
Lot III: Closed side loading garbage
transporter dump truck 10m3, 4x2
2. The
bid documents shall be obtained from A.A.W.S.A.’s Materials
Management Department, Room No. 277 against payment of
non-refundable fee of Birr 100 per set of document during office
hours upon presentation of Registration certificate from the Federal
Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, renewed trade license
for the current year and VAT registration certificate.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information at the office of
A.A.W.S.A.’S Material Management Department, Room No. 277, P.O. Box
1505, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Tel. 011 618 76 59/011 651 72 36, Fax
(251-11)662 39 24.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of Birr 10,000 in the form of
Bank Guarantee or Cashier’s Payment Order (C.P.O.) or Cash Bid Bond
in any other form shall not be acceptable.
5. Bids
shall be submitted in two separate envelopes: 1. Technical envelop
2. Financial envelope each having one original and one copy.
6.
All eligible
certificates cited in item No. 2 (registration certificate from the
Federal Ministry of Finance and Economic Development , renewed trade
license for the current year and VAT registration certificate)
should be found in the original technical envelope, and be placed in
the tender box on or before the final bud submission date.
7.
Bid bond should be in
separate envelope and be placed in the tender box together with the
original technical envelope.
8. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this repurpose
on or before 5:00 P.M. local time on July 3, 2006.
9. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their official
representatives who wish to attend, on July 4, 2006 at 10:00 A.M.
local time.
10. The
Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority (A.A.W.S.A) (Sanitation,
Beautification & Parks Development Agency) reserves the right to
accept reject any or all bids. Failure to comply with any of the
conditions from (4) to (8) mentioned above still result in automatic
rejection.
11.
Bidders who are not
the manufactures of the goods supplies must provide manufacture’s
authorization valid for 2005/2006.
12.
The Authority reserves
the right to reject any or all of the bids.
