1. Addis
Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority invites bidders to participate in
the tender for the supply of Hydrate Lime-2500 ton.
2. The
Bid Documents shall be obtained from the same office against payment
of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 during office hours upon
presentation of registration certificate from the Federal Ministry
of Finance and Economic Development renewed Trade License for the
year & VAT registration certificate.
3.
Interested eligible
bidders may obtain further information at the office of A.A.W.S.A.’s
Purchase Division 2nd floor, Room No. 223, P.O.
Box 1505, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Tel. 011 662 00 10/011 662 41 40,
Fax (251-11) 662 39 24.
4.
All bids must be
accompanied by a bid bond of Birr 5,000 up to 10,000 in the form of
Bank Guarantee or Cashier’s Payment Order (C.P.O.) or Cash. Bid bond
in any other form shall not be acceptable.
5. Bids
shall be submitted in two separate envelops: 1. Technical envelope
2. Financial envelope each having one original and one copy.
6. All
eligibility certificates under No.2 should be found in the original
technical envelope, and be submitted in the tender box on the
closing date.
7. Bid
Bond should be submitted in the tender box together with the
original technical envelope.
8.
All bids must be
deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose at or before
5:00 P.M. local time on July 5, 2006.
9. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their
representatives who wish to attend, on July 6, 2006 at 10:00 A.M.
local.
10. The
Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
Failure to
comply any of the conditions from (4) to (8) above will result in
automatic rejection.
