1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a loan from the
International Development Association (IDA)- toward the cost of
Public Sector Capacity Building Program, and it intends to apply
part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for
the Supply & Delivery of Computers & Accessories under-IFB No.
Pscap-BG-T/G-01/06. The Loan amount is US $ 100,000,000.
2. The
Benishangul Gumuz Capacity Building Coordination office now invites
sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply & Delivery of the
following goods. Bidding will be conducted through National
Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure.

3. Interested

4. Bidders
may compete for all or any category of the items under this bid.
Bids will be evaluated and contracts awarded on item-by-item basis.

5. A
complete set of bidding document in ENGLISH may be purchased by the
interested bidders from Ministry of Federal Affairs during office
hours at Room No. 106 upon the submission of a written application
to the address below and payment of non-refundable fee 50 Birr (Birr
Fifty). The method of payment will be in cash only.
6. Bids

Wax-sealed bid document (1 original
& 1copy) shall be delivered to the Ministry of Federal Affairs,
Addis Ababa, Room No. 106, on or before 9:00 A.M. July 6, 2006. Late
bides will be rejected.
Bid will be opened in the presence
of the bidders/bidders’ represeatnvies who choose to be present in
person at 10:00 A.M. on the same date at the Ministry of Federal
Affairs, Room No. 106, Addis Ababa.
All bids must be accompanied by a
bid security in the amount of Birr 10,000 (Ten Thousand Birr) in the
form of Certificate Cheque, CPO or Bank Guarantee which will be
payable on first demand y the Benishangul Gumuz Regional State
Capacity Building Coordination office.
