The Debre
Berhan Blanket Factory (DBBF) invites eligible bidders for the
supply of:
1. Acrylic
soft material (laps) 130,800kg
2. Coarse
wool laps materials 104,200kg
3. Acrylic
pulled material as per the quantity and colours Variety hereunder:
Golden yellow
Scarrlet (red)
Orange
Black
Royal Green
Royal Blue
Total
182,000kg
Interested bidders:
Shall submit a bid bond of at least 2% of the total bid price in
that form of insurance bond, bank guarantee or CPO payable to DBBF
along with their offer.
Should quote their price in FOB seaport.
Shall submit their offer in wax-sealed envelope within 20
consecutive days starting from the date of the first announcement of
this bid in The Ethiopian Herald to the under mentioned address. The
closing date will be on the 20th (the last) day of the
bid period at 4:30 P.M. local time.
The bid shall be opened officially on the bid closing day at 4:30
P.M. at Addis Ababa Branch Office in the presence of bidders or
their legal representatives. If the last day happens to be holiday,
the bid closing and opening date will be the next working day.
All bidders must send at least one (1) kg. of sample materials (of
each colours for pulled material) along with their offer.
The winner is required to submit at least 10% of the total FOB Price
as performance bond upon the signing of the contract.
The Factory can select one or more winners based on prices, the
quality of samples and past performance.
For Item No. 3 the material must be well opened and without rugs. It
must also be of acrylic origin.
Supplier should submit their unit price for blended & non-blended
pulled materials. The Factory reserves the right to accept or reject
any or all bids.
