The Ethiopian Eclectic Power
Corporation (EEPCO)
(hereinafter referred to as the Corporation) issued this notice of
invitation to bid;
For design, manufacture, test & delivery to the warehouse in Finchaa
including sea and inland transportation, port clearances and
insurance from warehouse to warehouse of submission equipment for
the following:
One (1) 230 kV outgoing line bay at the existing Finchaa switchyard.
One new complete 230/33/15 kV substation at Finchaa-II with one (I)
20/10/10 MVA, 3-winding power transformer, three (3) 230 kV outgoing
line bays, 230 kV double bus bar system, 33 kV GIS switchgear and
air insulated 15 kV switchgear.
Two (2) 230 kV line bays with one and half bus bar system at eh
existing Ghedo substation.
The Project is financed by EEPCO.
Eligible companies are invites for
Finchaa-Ghedo-Gefersa 230 kV Power Transmission Project, Contract
FGG-1 “Supply of Substation Equipment”
Only bidders who have designed, manufactured and supplied substation
equipment at 230 kV voltage level or above will be considered
qualified.
The bid document can be collected against a non-refundable payment
of Ethiopian Birr 1000 (One Thousand Ethiopian Birr).

Bid documents will be available starting from June 5, 2006 at or
after 8:00 hours local time (8:00 A.M.)
Offers must be delivered to the address given by July 19, 2006 at or
before 12:00 hours local time. Late bids will be rejected.
Offers will be opened in the presence of bidders/represeatnvies who
choose to attend at he address below on July 19, 2006 at 15:00 hours
local time (3:00 P.M.) at the EEPCo Club, Mexico Square, Addis
Ababa.
The Corporation reserves he right to reject any or all of the
offers. |
