1. The
Oromia Regional Health Bureau has received a grant from the Italian
Government and Global funds towards the cost of Health Sector
Development Programme (HSDP) and intends to apply part of the
funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for the
Construction of One Office Block with Contract Identification
Number NCB/IC/HSDP/ORHB/05/06, within the already existing
Regional Health Bureau compound at Addis Ababa Kirkos Sub-city,
Kebele 34, Oromia Regional Health Bureau supplies all construction
materials for this work and the constructs are expected to bid only
for labour works, and Bidding is open to all eligible contractors.
2. Contractors
of class GC/BC 7 and above and regularly registered with the
Ministry of Works and Urban Development and who have renewed their
license for the year 1998 and VAT registered.

Bidding documents may be purchased from Oromia Regional Health
Bureau, Engineering Service, Room No. 63, Addis Ababa, for a
non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (One Hundred Birr only) from 8th
of June 2006 to 8th of July 2006. Interested bidders may
obtain further information at the same address.
4. Bids
(one Original and one copy) shall be accompanied by a bid bond of
2% of the project cost in CPO or Unconditional bank guarantee
and shall be delivered to Oromia Regional Health Bureau on or before
8th of July 2006 at 2:00 P.M. in the afternoon at
which time the bid will be opened in the presence of the bidders who
wish to attend.
5. Completion
time for the construction work will be 150 calendar days.
6. All
questionnaires and formats in the bidding documents shall be filled
by eligible bides and failing to do so any be a case for rejection,
and therefore bidders are advised to read the bidding data properly
and respond accordingly.
7. The
Bureau has the right to reject any or all bids.
