Federal Government of Ethiopia will finance the Universal Energy
Access Program. It is intended that part of this financing will be
applied to eligible payments under the Contract for the component
UEAP MWRGF-1 Substation Construction.
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation now invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for the supply and installation of equipment under
the following lots:

230/132/33 kV Substation at Ramo

interested eligible bidders on the submission of a written
application to the address stated above and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 5,000 (Five Thousand) or
its equivalent in a freely-convertible currency.
bidding document will be available starting from March 17, 2006.
Bids must be delivered to the address stated in item 5 above
at or before May 19, 2006, 11:30 o’clock. All bids must be
accompanied by a bid security of 2% of bid price in a freely
convertible currency. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be
opened in the presence of the bidders/represeatnvies who choose to
attend at the address below at May 19, 2006, 14:30 o’clock.
