1.      Somali Regional State Water Resource Development, Mines & Energy Bureau has received a fund from a Regional State Food Security Bureau to drill a total of 50 borehole in different zones of our region for 1998 E.C. fiscal year budget.

2.      WRDM & EB invites for the second time for 39 wells. To any eligible bidders who has a grade four and above for contract of water wells drilling, installation of casing and gravel packing, well development, test well head construction and completion of wells including supply of all required material.

3.      A complete set of bidding document may be purchased by interested bidder upon presentation of renewed relevant license for 1998 E.C. registration from Ministry of Water Resource, VAT registration and Tax Identification Number (TIN) together with written application to the above office upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 150 (One Hundred Fifty Birr only) from the day published on The Ethiopian Herald.

4.      Bid must be addressed to the above office not later than 15 calendar days after the day of publication on The Ethiopian Herald at 12:00 A.M. and must be accompanied by a bid bond of 1% (one percent) of the bid amount CPO or bank guarantee.

5.      Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their represeatnvies who choose to attend at 02:00 P.M. on the same day at the office of the bureau head.

7.      The Bureau reserves the right to reject part and/or all bids.
