1. AMHARA
NATIONAL REGIONAL STATE Kobo Girana Valley Development Program
Office (KGVDP) invites interested & eligible of Water Well Drilling
Enterprise and Electromechanical Supplier for the following
projects:
1.1
Lot One-Deep Well
Drilling
Six Irrigation water well drilling,
installation of casing, gravel packing, well development, pumping &
water quality test, well head construction & completion of wells
including the supply of all required material at Waja-Golesha and
Hormat Golina well fields of Kobo sub-basin.
1.2
Lot Two-pump
installation
Supply and installation of
Electro-mechanical work at HG-8 and HG-10 well sites of
Hormat-Golina well field.
2.
Bidders should abide
with the regulation and rules of Value Added Tax (TAX) specified by
the government of Ethiopia. Failure to do so will result in
automatic rejection from the bid.
3. Complete
set of bid documents can be obtained during working hours from the
date of the first announcement at KGVDP liaison office located in
the office of the council for the Amhara National Regional State
(ANRS) building block 3, Tel. 058-220 30 05, P.O. Box 1277 Bahir Dar,
upon the presence of necessary renewed licenses & registration, Tax
identification number (TIN) certificate of 1998 E.C. issued from the
Ministry of Finance E Development together with written application
& a non-refundable fee of payment of Birr 100 (One Hundred) for each
Lot and for each project in Lot two.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 1% of
bid price in acceptable certified cheque (CPO) or bank guarantee
form from a recognized domestic bank and it shall be submitted
separately in a wax sealed envelope or with the original technical
proposal.
5. Original
and copy of bid should be submitted separately in a wax-sealed
envelope (i.e.) Technical & Financial Proposal Separately) to the
address stated above before 3:00 P.M. on 13 April 2006.
6. Technical
proposal and the amount of bid security shall be opened and read in
the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who
choose to attend at 4:30 P.M. at the above mentioned date and
address (liaison office, Bahir Dar). (Technically responsive bidders
shall be officially invited and the financial bids shall be opened
and read in the presence of bidders or their authorized
representatives who choose to attend.
7. Bidders
can bid or one Lot or for all lots, but should endorse bid documents
separately.
8. Bidders

9. The
Program office reserves the right to reject any part or all bids.
