1. The
Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority (AAWSA) now invites sealed
bids from eligible bidders for the supply and installation of
laboratory benches.
2. The
bid documents shall be available from the same office against
payment of a noon-refundable fee of Birr 50.00 during office hours
upon presentation of registration certificate from the Federal
Ministry of Finance, renewed trade license for the year and VAT
registration certificate.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information at the office of
A.A.W.S.A,’s Materials Management Department 2nd floor,

4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of Birr 3,000 to 5,000 in the
form of a Bank Guarantee Cashier’s payment Order (CPO) or Cash. Bid
bond in any other form shall not be acceptable.
5. Bids
shall be submitted in two separate envelopes: 1. Technical envelope
2. Financial envelope each having one original and one copy.
6.
All eligibility
certificates under Serial No. 2 should be found in the original
technical envelope, and be submitted in the tender box on the
closing date.
7. Bid
bond should be in a separate envelope and be submitted in the tender
box together with original technical envelope.
8. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose
at or before 5:00 P.M. local time on April 3, 2006.
9. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their official
representatives who wish to attend, on April 4, 2006 at 10:00 A.M.
local time.
10. The
Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids
Failure to comply any of the
conditions from (4) to (8) above will result in automatic rejection.
