To
all contractors of category WC Class 6 and above with renewed
license valid for the year 1998 E.C.
1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit form
the International Development Association toward the cost of the
Emergency Recovery Project and it intends to apply part of the
proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contract for
the construction of water supply distribution system at Ayendebae
and Sembelel (Lot-1), Koneba and Alehena (Lot-2) and Asgubi (Lot-3)
in Afar Region.
2.
Bidders may
participate for each item in a lot. However, if a bidder bids for
Lot-2 the bidder must bid for all items in the lot (Koneba and
Alehena).
3. A
complete set of bidding documents for all lots may be purchased by
any interested eligible bidder at the ERPMU office room No. 46/49
upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (One Hundred).
4. Bidders
may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding
documents at the address indicated below.
5. All
bids must accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the bid amount in
an acceptable form (cash, CPO, or bank Guarantee) valid for 90 days
and must be delivered to the address below on or before March 21,
2006, 10:00 local time.
6. Bids
will be opened and read on the same date in the presence of bidders
or their representatives who choose to attend on March 21, 2006,
10:30 local time at Conference Hall Room No. 72.
7. Bidders
are requested to fill all the necessary details in the schedules.
The office reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
