1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a Grant from
the World Bank and loan form the IFAD (International Fund for
Agricultural Development) toward the cost of Patrol Community
Development Project (PCDP), and it intends to apply part of the
proceeds of the Grant/loan to payments under the contract for the
supply of Agricultural Tractor and accessories for Rayitu Woreda
pastoral community.
2. Rayitu
Woreda pastoral community now invites sealed bids from eligible
bidders for the supply of Agricultural tractor and accessories.
3. Bidding
will be conducted under the National Competitive Bidding
procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement
under IBRD Loans & IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from
eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information form PCDP-Oromia
Project Coordination Unit, Tel. 011-122 91 69 or Fax 011-122 91 67
Finfine and inspect the bidding documents at the address given
below during office hours.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
eligible bidders on the submission of a written application to
PCDP-Oromia Project Coordination Unit upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 200.
6. Bids
must be submitted to PCDP-Oromia Project Coordination Unit,
Finfine on or before 28th day at 11:30 A.M. from the
date of announcement.
7. All
bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Birr 80,000 in the
form of CPO, Certified Cheque of Bank Guarantee.
8. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives
who choose to attend at the address below on the 28th day
at 2:00 P.M. form the date of announcement.
9. Rayitu
Woreda Pastoral Community reserves the right to reject any or all
bids.
