Notice of
Invitation for the Construction Works of
Hida-Yalo Road Project
- The
Ethiopian Roads Authority invites registered contractors of
Category GC-1 or RC-1 with their professional certificate and
trade license valid for the year 1998 E.F.Y. and registered for
VAT to submit sealed bids for the construction of Hida-Yalo Road
Project. Hida-Yalo Road is located in the North Eastern Part of
Ethiopia in the Afar Regional State.
- The work
under this contract consists of construction of the road to an
RR50 gravel road standard and construction of minor and major
drainage structures.
- Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information, inspect and
acquire the bidding document at the office of:

- The bidding
document is prepared in English language and can be purchased by
interested bidders as of May 15, 2006 at the above office upon
presentation of the document mentioned under item (1) above and a
written application to the Engineering Services Procurement,
Design and Technical Support Division of ERA and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 750.
- All bids
must be accompanied by a security in the form and amount specified
in the bidding documents and must be delivered to:
